The Oregon Humane Society's Dog of the Day is Hopi (83564). This adorable little two year old Chihuahua is Hopi! She is a sweet, happy girl who is looking for a great home with her sister, Hy. They have been together forever and are a bonded pair--they do not like being separated! Hopi and Hy have been exposed to other dogs and children and do well with both. They have also been around cats, but they absolutely love to chase cats, so they will need to find a cat-free home. Hopi is very affectionate, and can be a little more confident and outgoing than her sister. Hy, who is the smaller of the two, only five pounds, likes being carried around by her people and will happily spend all of her time in someone's lap! Both of these girls can be a bit vocal, so in an apartment setting they may bother neighbors with their talking. If you have been wanting to add a sweet pair of cuties to your home, Hopi and Hy may be just the ones! The $300 adoption fee covers both dogs. They are areat the Oregon Humane Society's Westside Adoption Center at Lexi Dog on 6100 SW Macadam Ave. Portland, OR (503-245-4363). You can meet with them there. www.oregonhumane.org
The adoption fee includes spay, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines and plenty of post adoption support. Availability is subject to prior adoption.
