PORTLAND, Ore. — A semi-truck driver struck and killed a pedestrian on Northeast Marine Drive just west of 185th Avenue at about 5 a.m. Tuesday, according to Portland police.
Responding officers arrived and found an adult lying in the roadway. Emergency medical responders declared the person dead. She was identified Wednesday as 20-year-old Ashlee Christine Dale Pullman, of Wood Village.
The semi driver was driving westbound when they struck the pedestrian, police said. The driver stopped and called 911 and remained at the scene and cooperated with police. No citations were issued as of Wednesday morning.
