HILLSBORO, Ore. — A crash involving a pedestrian has closed down Southeast Tualatin Valley Highway at Cornelius Pass Road, according to Hillsboro police.
A woman was in a crosswalk when she was hit by a man in an SUV turning right onto westbound Tualatin Valley Highway. She suffered serious injuries and was taken to a hospital.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated. Speed and alcohol are not factors, police said. The incident remains under investigation.
A detour has been established on Johnson Street from 75th to 209th. Police ask that you avoid the area.
