CLATSOP, Ore. — Extremely high tides, known as King Tides, hit the Oregon Coast this weekend.
The tides only happen a few times during the year. They were expected to be the biggest of the season.
While the waves are captivating to see, there's a big danger with getting too close. This video from Thor's Well and Yachats, Oregon, shows the danger. Fortunately, the man was OK.
