PORTLAND, Ore. — The Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office is celebrating Pride Month by adding some color to one of its SUVs.

In a post on Facebook, the sheriff’s office said the special decals are meant to show commitment to the LGBTQ community.

“We know that trust is a perishable commodity and want to continue building trust with the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) community. We also want to recognize the great work that our own LGBTQ employees are doing to make this community a better place,” the sheriff’s office wrote.
