WASHINGTON COUNTY, Ore. — A missing woman last seen Monday night in Milwaukie has now been found safe, according to the Washington County Sheriff's Office (WCSO). They'd previously asked for help from the public in locating her.
The woman was found in Mount Hood National Forest, where someone stumbled upon her car and reported it when they returned to town, WCSO said. Clackamas County officers then went to search for the woman and found the car and her close by.
Officers reported that the woman is alive and well, WCSO said, and officers are attending to her and waiting for an ambulance.
According to the sheriff's office, the woman had last been seen Monday at 6:16 p.m. at Providence Milwaukie, and location services last showed her phone in Estacada about two hours later.
