MIssing woman found safe at Crater Lake

Oregon State Police troopers and Douglas County sheriff's deputies are looking for a woman who was reported missing on the way to the Crater Lake area.

UPDATE: Oregon State Police made contact with Terrell Monday morning and confirmed she is safe in the Crater Lake area.

"OSP thanks the media and those on social media who helped get the word out," said Lt. Gregg Hastings. "Contact was made this morning about 10:00 a.m. via her cell phone."

ROSEBURG, Ore. (AP) - Oregon State Police troopers and Douglas County sheriff's deputies are looking for a Georgia woman who was reported missing on the way to the Crater Lake area.

Family and friends of 51-year-old Andria C. Terrell tell police they have not heard from her and have not been able to contact her cell phone. Phone activity shows the last location was Sunday afternoon near Canyonvile.

Terrell is a traveling nurse, currently working in Eugene. She is driving a rental 2014 Kia Forte with California license 7AXZ944.

She was described as white, 5-foot-2, 140 lbs,, with light colored hair and blue eyes.

Anyone who sees her or the vehicle is asked to call OSP Southern Command Center dispatch at 800-442-2068 or 541-776-6111.
