PORTLAND, Ore. -- Monday's record-breaking heat brought more than the two-legged variety of people to downtown Portland's water fountains.
Some of the folks splashing around also had fins.
KGW Chief Meteorologist Matt Zaffino landed an exclusive interview with two mermaids, who surfaced to enjoy the sunshine and spread their message of protecting the sea.
First, Zaffino interviewed Yl'luria, his first mermaid interview ever. She happily splashed as she answered Zaffino's questions, but she may have been a bit offended when asked if she eats sushi.
But there was more - suddenly, Una also appeared!
