MARION COUNTY, Oregon — One person died and five others were injured following a crash in Marion County on Friday afternoon.
The crash was reported at 3:10 p.m. on Highway 22E, about five miles east of Stayton.
Three vehicles were involved in the crash, according to Oregon State Police.
No details about what led to the crash or the conditions of the injured people were immediately released. The investigation is ongoing.
Eastbound and westbound lanes will be closed for several hours. Drivers are advised to take an alternate route.
