PORTLAND, Ore. — A man is hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after a rollover car crash Wednesday night.
At 7:16 p.m., Portland Police Bureau officers, Portland Fire and Rescue (PF&R), American Medical Response and the Oregon Department of Transportation responded to a crash on the ramp from westbound Interstate 84 to northbound Interstate 205.
When they arrived, they found a driver critically injured inside the rolled-over car. The driver, who has not been identified, was extricated using hydraulic tools and transported to the hospital.
The ramp is closed during the investigation, police said. PF&R and the Gresham Fire Department are clearing the scene.
It is unknown at this time what caused the crash or how long traffic will be affected.
