LINN COUNTY, Ore. — One man died and another was injured in a two-vehicle crash early Sunday morning on Highway 22E in Linn County.
The crash happened around 1:30 a.m. on Highway 22E near milepost 64.5.
Brian Beveridge, 48, of Scappoose was driving west on Highway 22E when he crossed into the eastbound lane and crashed into a Nissan Frontier driven by Matthew Baker, 49, of Bend.
Beveridge died at the scene. Baker was taken to the hospital but is expected to survive.
