PORTLAND, Ore. – A 61-year-old man died after crashing his car on Powell Boulevard Wednesday afternoon.
At 4:04 p.m., officers responded to a report that a car crashed into a pole at Southeast 33rd Avenue and Powell Boulevard, Sgt. Pete Simpson of Portland police said.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash. Toxicology results were pending.
