KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. (AP) -- The Klamath County district attorney's office says the county major crime team has begun a "cold case" review of six unsolved homicides dating back 40 years.
Klamath County Chief Deputy District Attorney David Groff says the books are never closed on an unsolved murder.
Groff said the review is an effort to bring fresh ideas, new techniques and recent leads to light.
The major crime team in Klamath County includes some of the most experienced detectives and staff from the district attorney's and sheriff's offices, the Oregon State Police, the crime lab and Klamath Falls police.
The specific cases under review were not released.
