HILLSBORO, Ore. — Police say a juvenile riding a bicycle died after being hit by a car on Saturday afternoon.
The crash happened near SE 10th Avenue and SE Baseline Street around 4:10 p.m.
The driver of the vehicle remained on scene cooperating with investigators.
The family of the juvenile has been notified of their death. Police are not releasing their identity due to their age.
SE 10th Avenue was closed between SE Baseline Street and SE Washington Street for about four hours.
KGW spoke with the 12-year-old's family. They've started a GoFundMe account to help pay for unexpected funeral expenses.
