FAIRVIEW, Oregon — Firefighters responded to a house fire in Fairview Monday morning.

Around 6 a.m., crews with both Portland and Gresham Fire responded to a home on Northeast Interlachen Lane. There are currently no known injuries, according to Gresham Fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

A fire broke out at the same home in March 2021. First responders rescued a woman, but a man was unable to escape and and officials could not reach him. He died in the fire, the Multnomah County Sheriff's office reported at the time.

It's unclear if anyone who currently lives inside the home is related to the previous occupants.
