PORTLAND, Ore. — A motorcyclist died Friday afternoon in a crash with a car, the Portland Police Bureau (PPB) reported.
The crash happened in the area of East Burnside Street and Southeast 55th Avenue at around 3:20 p.m. The driver of the car stayed at the scene and is cooperating with officers, PPB said.
Police have shut down East Burnside Street between Southeast 53rd Avenue and Southeast 57th Avenue during the investigation. PPB did not say how long the road will be closed.
PPB did not identify the motorcyclist.
