GERVAIS, Ore. – The largest squash on Earth resides here in Oregon.
Scott Holub of Eugene grew the record-breaking squash and brought it to the Giant Pumpkin Weigh Off at Bauman's Farm on Saturday.
The giant squash weighed in at 1,578 pounds.
Growers of some of the largest pumpkins and squash in the world compete in the annual event.
