BAKER CITY, Ore. (AP) - Authorities are investigating the death of a 28-year-old inmate at the Baker County Jail.
The Oregon State Police said Sunday that it is working with the Baker County District Attorney's Office to determine what happened to Joshua Pantle.
Workers at the jail noticed he was having medical issues around 3:30 p.m. Saturday. They began giving him medical care. Pantle was taken to a hospital in Baker City where he died.
An autopsy is scheduled Monday. No other details were released Sunday.
