PORTLAND, Ore. — A driver died in a crash early Saturday morning.
Portland police responded to a single-vehicle crash on Southeast Powell Boulevard at Southeast 28th Avenue around 2:38 a.m.
The vehicle rolled over and the driver died at the scene.
This marks the 62nd traffic fatality in Portland this year.
Anyone with information about the crash is asked to email the Traffic Investigations Unit at crimetips@police.portlandoregon.gov and reference case number 23-299816.
This was the second fatal crash in the metro area in less than 12 hours. A motorcyclist died on Northeast 181st Avenue in Gresham on Friday night.
