OREGON CITY, Ore. – Crews from Clackamas Fire District #1 shut down Highway 99E in Oregon City to rescue a climber who was stuck about 30 feet down a cliff near Willamette Falls.
A passing boater heard the man yelling for help and called 911, according to a Clackamas Fire spokesman.
Crews rappelled down the cliff to rescue the climber. He was not hurt.
