REEDSPORT, Ore. -- A 48-year-old Tigard woman was one of two people who died in a head-on crash Monday morning.
Lisa Oswill died after she drove her car over the center line on State Route 38 about 12 miles southeast of Reedsport and crashed into a Jeep at about 7:26 a.m. Monday. Her passenger, 21-year-old Carly Renee Williams-Oswill, of Wedderburn, Oregon, also died in the crash.
The driver of the Jeep, 37-year-old Lacy Little Deer Santos, and her passenger, 15-year-old Kylee Louise Santos, both from Scottsburg, Oregon, were taken by ambulance to separate hospitals for serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The Oregon State Police said speed and icy roads are being considered as factors in the crash. All four people were using their seat belts and the airbags in both vehicles deployed, police said.
