OREGON CITY, Ore. — The Oregon City Police Department is investigating after a woman died after driving her car into Clackamas River near a RV park Tuesday afternoon.
Police said the first call came in at 12:54 p.m., where someone said they saw an SUV go into the water at Clackamette RV Park.
The Oregon City Police Department responded with marine rescue units and located both the SUV and the woman. Rescue divers attempted lifesaving efforts on the woman, who was then taken to an area hospital. Police confirmed to KGW early Wednesday evening that the woman died. She has not yet been identified.
