WILSONVILLE, Ore. — A new Burgerville location opened Wednesday at the Argyle Square Shopping Center in Wilsonville.
The restaurant is Burgerville's first new location in eight years, marking their 40th restaurant in the Pacific Northwest. Burgerville announced the new location in January.
To celebrate its grand opening week, the location will offer $1.99 original cheeseburgers through Aug. 11 and serve free fries on Fridays throughout the month of August, though they'll only be available through the Burgerville app for Localville Rewards members.
The local fast-food chain also is looking at two more locations in Oregon, one in Salem and the other in Bend.
Burgerville opened in 1961 and is a family-owned company headquartered in Vancouver, Washington. It's known for partnering with local farms and brands to bring seasonal menus to customers.
Correction: An earlier version of this story mistakenly overstated the length of the time of the cheeseburger promotion.
