FOREST GROVE, Ore. – The long arm of the law finally caught up with a rogue rooster in Forest Grove.
Steve the Rooster had been harassing neighbors in three neighborhoods for several days, according to Forest Grove police.
In a post on Facebook, the police department said Steve was apprehended Thursday morning by a joint task force of police and Forest Grove Light & Power.
Police said roosters are not allowed in Forest Grove city limits, but residents are allowed to have up to four chickens each.
Steve will be released at a farm outside of town.
