OREGON CITY, Ore. -- An Amtrak train collided with a semi-truck in Oregon City Tuesday afternoon.
A spokeswoman for Amtrak said the Coastal Starlight that operates between Seattle and Los Angeles ran into a semi-truck that was on the tracks.
No one on either the train or the truck was reportedly injured, officials said. The Clackamas Sheriff urged people to avoid 99E at South End Road.
The train was carrying 285 passengers, Amtrak said. The truck was hauling wood chips, according to Canby Fire.
