PORTLAND, Ore. — A missing 10-year-old Idaho girl who was the focus of an Amber Alert issued on Wednesday has been found safe, according to authorities.
Police from Nampa, Idaho, said Alissa Helmandollar was located safe in Cheney, Washington.
An Amber Alert was issued earlier on Wednesday when police said Alissa was believed to be in danger after she was taken by her mother, 41-year-old Brooke Helmandollar. Brooke was also found safe in Cheney.
Police said Alissa may have been seen in the eastern Oregon city of Hermiston late Wednesday morning, and that the mother and daughter could have been headed to Portland.
