Much has been written about the Wapato jail facility, the never-used jail built by Multnomah County that recently sold to Jordan Schnitzer for $5 million in a somewhat unusual way — and that some advocates would like to use as a place for homeless services.
But despite all the talk and words, there haven't been a whole lot of visuals to go along with the Wapato story.
Today, however, Schnitzer led several tours of Wapato to let people get an idea of how the the 18-acre property, which includes the 155,400-square-foot jail, might be used.
