PORTLAND, Ore. — Late last week, the Portland Police Bureau (PPB) conducted a retail theft mission focusing on a Portland shopping center. The mission resulted in multiple arrests and warrant clearances including the arrest of a prolific shoplifter, according to PPB.
On May 24, Portland officers from the North Precinct, K9 Unit and the Air Support Unit assisted in carrying out the mission, which is part of an ongoing effort to address organized retail theft across the metro area.
Officers focused on the Cascade Station Shopping Center near the Portland Airport in collaboration with retail partners. The mission resulted in 14 people arrested and clearance of 16 warrants, according to PPB.
One woman, 41-year-old Pamala R. McIntosh also known as Pamala Fleming-Parton was arrested at the Old Navy store on six outstanding warrants. All for theft in the first, second and third degree out of Multnomah, Clackamas and Washington Counties — with nine pending theft cases.
Portland police say they partner with the Multnomah County District Attorney’s Office Retail Theft Task Force on these cases and often times suspects tend to be involved in organized theft rings.
During the May 24 mission here's the outcome: 14 arrests made, one felony charge, nine misdemeanor charges, eight felony warrants, eight misdemeanor warrants, two traffic stops, two cars towed, one car attempted to drive off from police, and two citations issued.
