ROSE LODGE, Ore. -- An Otis, Oregon, man has been missing since Saturday night, when he was expected to return home from a hunting trip, police said.
A friend called 911 just after 9 p.m. Saturday to report that 56-year-old Floyd Lucero had not returned from an afternoon hunt, according to Sgt. Adam Shanks with the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office.
Lucero was wearing camouflage clothes when he left for his hunt shortly after 3 p.m. in the Rose Lodge area, about five miles east of Lincoln City. He is reportedly familiar with the area and he's an avid outdoorsman, Shanks said.
Lincoln County Search and Rescue crews and volunteers searched for Lucero until nightfall Sunday, when the effort was suspended due to storm warnings.
Crews resumed the search at 10:30 Monday morning.
Anyone with information was asked to call (541) 265-4231.
