PORTLAND, Ore. -- Even if you don’t know their name, you’ve seen the work of Hoffman Construction.
The company has built some of Oregon’s most iconic structures, such as the Memorial Coliseum, Oregon Convention Center, Portland Art Museum, Matthew Knight Arena, the glass canopy at Portland International Airport and more.
KGW reporter Nina Mehlhaf and video journalist Eric Patterson looked at the history of the company, which was honored as a 2016 Oregon History Maker.
The Oregon Historical Society has been awarding the Oregon History Makers medal annually since 2009. The award honors people and organizations that positively shape the history, culture and landscape of Oregon.
