PORTLAND, Ore. — Two more Oregonians have died and 64 more people have tested positive for COVID-19 in the state, health officials reported Monday.
There have been 29 deaths due to the new coronavirus and 1,132 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in Oregon. A total of 21,801 people have been tested in the state and 95% of the tests have been negative.
A 93-year-old man in Washington County died Saturday after testing positive on March 30, and a 70-year-old woman in Marion County died Thursday after testing positive the day before. Both had underlying medical conditions.
The 64 new cases were reported in the following counties:
- Benton: 2
- Clackamas: 6
- Columbia: 2
- Curry: 2
- Deschutes: 1
- Douglas: 1
- Jackson: 6
- Josephine: 3
- Klamath: 3
- Lane: 2
- Linn: 1
- Marion: 11
- Multnomah: 10
- Polk: 2
- Umatilla: 1
- Washington: 12
