- A Keizer woman says she's spent the last 72 days battling COVID-19. Chelsea Alionar, a 37-year-old who has no underlying health conditions, has been dealing with waves of COVID-19 symptoms since early March. Learn more

- Oregon Gov. Kate Brown's office announced Marion and Polk counties, which were not allowed to reopen last week after failing to meet certain prerequisites, will be able move into the first phase of reopening on Friday. Learn more
- The Oregon Health Authority on Wednesday reported four more people have died from COVID-19, bringing the state’s death toll up to 144. Another 65 confirmed cases and 10 presumptive were also reported. Learn more
- Researchers at OHSU are working toward a reliable antibody test and are studying how the body may or may not become immune to the virus. Learn more
4:30 p.m.
- Multnomah County leaders discussed the county's progress on contact tracing, testing, PPE and other metrics at a meeting, but a county spokesperson told KGW it has no date set yet to submit for Phase 1 of reopening. Learn more

- The organization that oversees high school sports in Oregon has laid out guidance to administrators, coaches, parents and students about what a return to workouts should look like amid the coronavirus pandemic. Learn more
- Oregon is expected to lose $10.5 billion in revenue over the next five years, according to the official revenue forecast released by the state on Wednesday. Learn more
7:30 a.m.
- Clackamas County filed its application to enter Phase 1 of Oregon Gov. Kate Brown's reopening plan on Tuesday night after county commissioners were presented with the county's plan for reopening. A Washington County official told KGW that it will apply on Friday with a goal of entering Phase 1 on June 1. Learn more
- Multnomah County has scheduled a press conference this afternoon to announce its reopening plans. County leaders will discuss the county's progress on contact tracing, testing, PPE and other metrics. A county spokesperson told KGW it has not set a date yet to apply for Phase 1. The press conference is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. KGW will live stream it at kgw.com and on all our social media channels (YouTube, Facebook and Twitter).
- As counties across Oregon slowly begin to reopen and take steps toward normal life amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the state’s weekly report shows deaths, cases and the percentage of positive tests are all on the decline. Numbers last week were down across the board from the previous week. Learn more
