1 more death, 69 new cases of COVID-19 in Oregon

27 people have now died of COVID-19 in the state, and 1,068 people in Oregon have tested positive for the coronavirus.

PORTLAND, Ore. — One more person has died and 69 more people have tested positive for COVID-19 in Oregon, health officials reported Sunday.

Twenty seven Oregonians have now died of COVID-19 and 1,068 people have tested positive for the coronavirus.

A 62-year-old woman in Multnomah County tested positive for COVID-19 on Thursday, April 2 and died the same day at her home. Health officials said they don't know at this time if she had underlying medical conditions.

The 69 new cases were reported in the following counties:

  • Clackamas: 6
  • Columbia: 3
  • Klamath: 1
  • Lane: 3
  • Linn: 2
  • Marion: 10
  • Multnomah: 24
  • Polk: 2
  • Sherman: 1
  • Umatilla: 2
  • Washington: 12
  • Yamhill: 3
