SALEM, Ore. – A Shilo Inn was evacuated after a sign on the outside of the hotel caught fire Wednesday morning.
Firefighters checked the rest of the hotel, located at Market Street and Hawthorne Avenue NE, after the fire was extinguished. Investigators said the fire started on outside of the building, the Statesman Journal reported.
There were no reports of injuries.
A witness told KGW a sign shorted out and caught fire.
