EUGENE, Ore. -- A reality television fisherman from Oregon has been arrested in Illinois while on the run as a robbery suspect in a spree of Eugene bank heists.
Eugene Police identified 23-year-old Joshua Tel Warner as a suspect in robberies from April, August and October at two banks.
Warner is from Oakridge and became known as a crewmember aboard the Wizard on Discovery Channel's Deadliest Catch.
Police said he was a known as a green-horn who got in confrontations with deckhands and the captain on the show.
He also worked as a crab fisherman on the Oregon Coast and a forest firefighter.
Warner was accompanied by another suspect during the most recent robbery who was not identified.
