At least five people were injured in a crime spree before a suspect was arrested Tuesday morning.

SEATTLE — At least five people were injured in at least six separate shootings on Interstate 5 in a crime spree that spanned King and Pierce counties Monday, according to the Washington State Patrol.

A suspect who law enforcement believes to be connected to all of the shootings was arrested early Tuesday morning.

Two of the victims, both women, are receiving treatment at Harborview Medical Center - a 20-year-old woman is in satisfactory condition and another woman is in critical condition in the ICU. At this point, there is no information on the ages or conditions of the other victims.

Timeline of the shootings

After learning of the shootings later on, a seventh person called to report their car had been shot while they were on their way to Portland. They were in the area of south 320th Street in Federal Way around the time of the other shootings.

The suspect vehicle was described as a white Volvo with California license plates.

The suspect vehicle in these shootings matched the description of the vehicle believed to be involved in the shootings on I-5 north earlier in the day.

Trooper Rick Johnson reported around 1:40 a.m. the suspect was arrested.

The Tacoma Police Department, Lakewood Police Department, University Place Police Department, Puyallup Police Department, the Pierce County Sheriff's Department and the Fircrest Police Department, who made the arrest, all participated in the search.

At this point, there is no clear motive for the shootings.
