PORTLAND, Ore. — A woman was struck in the face by an apparent stray bullet while she was sleeping Tuesday morning in Southeast Portland, Portland police reported.
The shooting happened in the area of Southeast 64th Avenue and Woodward Street.
Police said the woman was "struck by a fragment in her face while she was asleep." The victim is being treated at the hospital and police said she's expected to survive.
