ALBANY, Ore. — A man was found in critical condition after allegedly being shot by his girlfriend last Thursday, the Albany Police Department said.
Around 2 a.m., Albany police responded to a call, saying his roommate had been shot by his girlfriend at a residence near 600 34th Avenue Southeast.
Officers found the man, Lucas Allen Forbes, 30, with a gunshot wound to his head. He was transported to the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Corvallis. On Friday, Forbes died from his injuries.

His girlfriend, Hami Lee, was taken into custody and charged with domestic violence, second-degree assault, menacing and unlawful use of a weapon. Her charges have now been upgraded to manslaughter in the first-degree, Albany police said.
Lee is being held at the Lin County Jail.
