UPDATE, Dec. 8 -- Lorrie Marie Hocker was caught and taken into custody in Tualatin, according to officials.

SALEM, Ore. -- A Coffee Creek Correctional Facility inmate escaped while being transported to a work assignment in Salem Monday morning.
Lorrie Marie Hocker, 42, opened one of the van doors and fled on foot around 6:50 a.m., according to the Oregon Department of Corrections.
Hocker was incarcerated at the Wilsonville prison on two counts of coercion and one count of felony assault on September 12. She was scheduled for release in July 2018.
She is described as being a white woman, 5'3" and weighing 145 pounds. She has brown hair and blue eyes. Hocker was last seen wearing a blue t-shirt, sweatshirt and blue jeans with the word "inmate" stenciled onto the knee in orange.

Hocker was convicted of physically assaulting a man in the presence of a child on July 17. The assault constituted domestic violence, according to Marion County court records. She was convicted of second-degree theft in Lane County in 2007 and two counts of second-degree forgery in Yamhill County in 1995.
Coffee Creek Correctional Facility is a multi-custody prison housing roughly 1,260 female inmates. The facility's intake center houses roughly 400 male inmates.
