BELLEVUE, Wash. -- Authorities have identified the woman who was murdered in a downtown Bellevue apartment building last week.

Her alleged killer was caught in Northern California.

Police say Song Wang killed a woman, identified by the King County Medical Examiner's Office as 37-year-old Kittaporn Saosawatsri and left her body inside a luxury apartment in Bellevue last week. He's also accused of trying to set a fire to the building.

The medical examiner says Saosawatsri died as a result of multiple stab wounds. It took nearly a week to release her identity because they were trying to reach her relatives in Thailand.

Police held a press conference on Monday making a plea to Song to turn himself in.

Wang was spotted Saturday in Oregon, but police don't know if he's still there. They do think he's armed and dangerous.

Early Tuesday morning Bellevue Police confirmed that Song Wang was arrested in Siskiyou County in northern California.

Investigators are still trying to figure out if Song knew the victim.
