McMINNVILLE, Ore. – Police arrested a Coos Bay man accused of stabbing another man during a fight in McMinnville early Sunday morning.
Officers responded to a report of a fight just before 1 a.m. near Northeast 3rd Street and Evans Street. They found the victim, 30-year-old Jaime Alfredo Jimenez, suffering from multiple stab wounds.
Police said Jimenez's injuries were not life-threatening.
Witnesses gave police a description of the suspect and he was spotted running from the area. Officers caught and arrested Stephen Garr, 19.
Garr was taken to the Yamhill County Jail on charges including assault (2nd degree) and unlawful use of a weapon. His bail was set at $167,500.
