SEATTLE — Seattle police say the person found dead outside Lumen Field early Sunday morning died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The Seattle Police Department said officers responded to the 1000 block of Occidental Avenue South at about 3:45 a.m. for a reported shooting.
Responding officers reportedly found a 27-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the chest. Seattle Fire Department crews responded to the scene and pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
Seattle police said a handgun was found at the scene.
