PORTLAND, Ore. — A 19-year-old has died following a stabbing at Wallace Marine Park in Salem in late July.
Around 2:15 a.m., on July 27, officers responded to reports of a person suffering from a stab wound on the south end of the park. When officers arrived, they found Riley John Adams with multiple stab wounds and began emergency medical aid.
Adams was transported to a Salem hospital, where he remained in critical condition until his death on Monday.
Salem police said his death is being investigated as a homicide.
