PORTLAND, Ore. — Police are searching for three suspects who allegedly stole and crashed a car in Portland Tuesday evening.

Officers responded to 8000 block of Southeast Division for a robbery call around 6:03 p.m.

A child had been sitting in the running vehicle when the three suspects jumped inside; the father was inside a nearby building, according to the Portland Police Bureau (PPB).

Police reported that there was "a struggle" before the child was able to get out of the car. The suspects then drove off, but crashed the car around Southeast 84th Avenue and fled on foot.

None of the suspects have been found, police said.

This is a developing story and may be updated with more details as they emerge.
