WASHINGTON COUNTY, Ore. — A Portland man has been arrested for repeatedly exposing himself at least 10 times to women, according to the Washington County Sheriff's Office (WCSO).
The sheriff's office said they had been investigating reports since October. The 36-year-old man, Derrick James Bonn, was identified, then later arrested Dec. 13. Bonn has been charged with two counts of public indecency, with more charges anticipated.
Police said the investigation revealed that Bonn was linked to 10 incidents between October and December, mostly in the Cooper Mountain area of Aloha. At least nine times, Bonn targeted women who were either inside their home or jogging in the early morning, at least nine times.
He often would exit his car, a maroon 2004 Ford Focus hatchback with Oregon plates, to directly approach the women or expose himself in front of the windows "while engaging in lewd acts," police said.
Bonn worked in the area as a newspaper deliveryman.
Detectives said they think there may be more victims who have not yet come forward.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office is urging anyone with information to contact investigators at 503-846-2700.
