ALBANY, Ore. -- Police are hoping a sketch will help them solve a terrifying home invasion and robbery in Albany.
On April 6, two men in masks and a third wearing a hoodie forced their way into a home in the 2300 block of Hill Street Southeast, according to investigators.
The trio screamed at the two adults and two children inside the home, demanding drugs and money, before robbing them at gunpoint, investigators said.
One of the victims told the Albany Democrat Herald the robbers seemed to think it was a drug house and wanted meth, which they did not have. He also said the man in the hoodie appeared to be the leader of the group, telling the masked men what to do.
Police were able to work with the victims to put together a description and sketch of the one suspect who did not wear a mask. They said he was a tall, light-skinned Hispanic man, about 18 to 23 years old, with a stocky build. He had short dark hair, a "baby face" and a "peach fuzz" mustache, according to the victims.
Anyone who recognizes the man in the sketch, or has any additional information that could help investigators, is encouraged to call the Albany Police Department at 541-917-7680.
