WOODBURN, Ore. — Law enforcement agencies are still searching for three 19-year-olds who escaped from the MacLaren Youth Correctional Facility in Woodburn. Arrest warrants have been issued for all three, and anyone who sees them is asked to call 911, according to a Tuesday morning news release from the Oregon Youth Authority.
The three escaped just after 9 p.m. Feb. 18, according to the OYA news release. The news release did not include any information about the circumstances of the escape.
The news release included the names of the escapees and listed the offenses that led to each of them being put into the juvenile justice system. The offenses were all committed before the youths turned 18, according to an OYA spokesperson.
- Angel Diaz-Barrera: robbery 1 and carry/use of a dangerous weapon in Marion County
- Julian Diaz-Navarro: attempted assault 1, carry/use dangerous weapon in Marion County
- Xavier Swimm: attempted assault 2, aggravated harassment in Multnomah County
Diaz-Barrera and Diaz-Navarro are from Salem, and Swimm is from Portland, OYA said. Anyone with information about their whereabouts is asked to contact Oregon State Police at 503-375-3555 and reference case number SP 24-054230.
