PORTLAND, Ore. — A pedestrian killed in a hit-and-run on Sunday night in north Portland has been identified as 24-year-old Daniel G. Ramsey.
Ramsey was hit and killed at about 9:57 p.m. Sunday by a person driving eastbound at a high rate of speed on North Fessenden Street near North Alma Avenue. Police say the driver didn't stop after hitting Ramsey.

"I just want the person who did it to come forward so we can have justice for my son, for Daniel," said Ramsey's mother, Lynda Hunter.
"He was loved and he has a lot of friends and family that will greatly miss him."
The suspect's car is a dark black sedan, believed to be a 2001-2003 BMW 5 Series. Police say the car will have a broken grill and notable damage to both the hood and windshield.
The photo below is of a car similar to the suspect vehicle.
Police also released two separate surveillance video clips of the suspect's car driving on North Fessenden Street around the time of the crash.
