PORTLAND, Ore. — Police have released the name of a man who was shot and killed in Northeast Portland's Hazelwood neighborhood late Tuesday night. No one has been arrested.
Officers responded to Northeast Glisan Street and Northeast 122nd Avenue around 11:34 p.m. after a report of a person shot. When they arrived to the area, they found a man dead. On Thursday, Portland police identified the man as 43-year-old John Molesworth. The medical examiner determined he died from a gunshot wound and ruled his death a homicide.
Portland police has not released any information about what led up to the shooting. No one has been arrested or detained in the case, Portland police said.
