PORTLAND, Ore. — A man was shot in Northeast Portland on Sunday night, police said.
The shooting happened around 7:15 p.m. in the 4500 block of Northeast 115th Avenue. The victim was taken to the hospital. His medical status is unknown at this time.
Police said there's no ongoing threat to the community.
Northeast 115th Avenue is closed to all traffic between Northeast Wygant Street and Northeast Prescott Street. Police said they expect the streets will reopen by 10 p.m.
The Gun Violence Reduction Team is assisting in the investigation.
